WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP AND INPUT TO ORGANIZE THE 2007 SUPPORT
STAFF CONVENTION. Please join us at the Staff Association office
on Tuesday May 2, 2006 at 4:30 pm for a dinner meeting so that
we can discuss the sessions and program for our 2007 convention.
Sue Wenaas, Convention Coordinator, would be happy to discuss

Monday, April 24 @ 6:30 p.m., Glenmore Inn, 2720 Glenmore
Trail SE. Doors Open at 6:00 p.m. The purpose of this meeting
is to clarify our current job action and what our next steps will
be. We recommend that at least one person from each job site is
present, in order to share with the others on staff. If you have
any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Staff Association

Members are to meet at the Staff Association Office between 3:45pm
and 4:00pm, at that time a bus will transport the members down
to the Ed Center for an Information Picket. At approx 4:30pm the
bus will return and bus the members back to the Staff Association
Office. Members interested are to contact Staff Association
Office by 2:00pm Monday April 3, 2006.

24, 2006 - We really, really, really need your input because:
1. Our convention will not be at Lester B. Pearson site next year
and need to find another venue.
Idea: we are looking at twin school sites that will have adequate
parking.
2. We need your ideas about the format of our convention.
Idea: do we try to get four or five main speakers for Thursday
and then the usual sessions on Friday?
3. We will look at other venues other then schools.
Note: this is difficult because there really aren’t that number
of centres that can hold us - we are a large group.
As you can see - there are lots of ideas and suggestions, and
no doubt you have others.
Please
bring them to our Convention Meeting on March 8, 2006, 4:30 pm
at Colonel Macleod School, 1610 - 6th Street NE. More information?
